The boys put in a tremendous shift against a big, strong ball carrying team who also moved the ball very well. It was a tough test.

We were very impressed with our offloading today and we thought our work at the breakdown was much better during the second half. They were not an easy team to shift off the ball.

Some fantastic tries were run in and valuable conversions banged over as well to keep the score totting up.

We had them back to 47-40 which was a great effort, thought the boys showed a lot of good characteristics today against a good team. We need to practise going very low in the tackle as the players get begger and stronger and have a strong hand-off in their arsenal.

Spoke to their ref after as we gave away a few ruck penalties which just lost momentum, just some small changes needed there and we then keep possession.

We couldn’t be any prouder of them all.

The coaches.
